Once an Eagle Always an Eagle

The following members of Troop 2 have been awarded the rank of Eagle Scout, the highest rank attainable in Boy Scouts. The title of Eagle Scout is held for life, thus giving rise to the phrase "Once an Eagle, always an Eagle".

Requirements include earning at least 21 merit badges and demonstrating Scout Spirit through the Boy Scout Oath and Law, service, and leadership. This includes an extensive service project that the Scout plans, organizes, leads, and manages. Eagle Scouts are presented with a medal and a badge that visibly recognizes the accomplishments of the Scout. Additional recognition can be earned through Eagle Palms, awarded for completing additional tenure, leadership, and merit badge requirements.

Disclaimer: The current council for Aldan Troop 2 is Cradle of Liberty. The present council is the result of the 1996 merger of Philadelphia and Valley Forge councils. Philadelphia Council was founded in 1911. The Valley Forge Council began operation in the 1910s as Delaware and Montgomery County Council. The council was renamed "Valley Forge Council" in the late 1930s. The list below was provided to Aldan Troop 2 by Cradle of Liberty Council. Aldan Troop 2 has been able to verify the Scouts listed in the list from present until 1979. After 1979, the list of Eagle Scouts could be a combination of Aldan Troop 2 and another Troop 2 from Philadelphia Council when there was two councils. We do not know for sure. We still want to recognize their achievement.
