Camp Tuckahoe began operations in 1948 as a year-round and summer camp facility. With 1,300 acres of lush wooded hills, Tuckahoe is a Scout camp rich in the purest traditions of Scout camping while offering campers of all ages outstanding challenges and adventures.
The camp is located at the “Forks” where the Little Conewago enters into the Big Conewago stream. It was formerly at the point of a traders cabin where the collection of furs and trading was done with early settlers and the Conewago Indian Tribes in the area.

Bashore Scout Reservation is a 400+ acre Scouts BSA camp nestled in the foothills of the Blue Mountains of central Pennsylvania. Surrounded by mountains and wilderness, the camp is in close proximity to the Appalachian Trail. Founded in 1947, Bashore Scout Reservation has earned a reputation for providing one of the Northeast Region’s finest summer camp programs.
Camp Saffran began operations in 1948 as a year-round and summer camp facility, located in Whiteford, Maryland. Camp Saffran currently focuses on older youth that are a part of either or both the Boy Scout or Venturing programs.
Camp Ockanickon is approximately 240 acres in size and offers one of the largest merit badge programs in the Northeast Region with 80 badges offered at summer camp. The outdoor adventure program includes rock climbing at Ralph Stover State Park, mountain biking on Cannondale bikes, and riding on MBS mountain boards.
Camp Horseshoe is located on the Mason-Dixon line separating Pennsylvania and Maryland. The name of the camp derives from the Octoraro Creek, a tributary of the Susquehanna River, that makes a meandering 4-mile horseshoe through the property. Opened for the first camp season in 1928 under the leadership of Charles M. "Chief" Heistand.
Akridge Scout Reservation is located on 85 acres of the former Kesselring family farm. The camp features 9 campsites as well as 3 pavilions, an outdoor arena and a covered 32 position archery range. The centerpiece of the property is an 8 acre man-made lake. The lake boasts a 1000 seat covered outdoor arena, boat dock and an island.
